Major BART delays reported due to equipment problem

Major BART delays were reported on Tuesday morning due to an equipment problem on the track, transit officials said.

As of 10:43 a.m., a major delay was occurring between the San Bruno and San Francisco International Airport stations on the Pittsburg/Bay Point and SFO directions because of the equipment problem.

Further details were not immediately available.
