Fog prompts delays of up to an hour at SFO

Delays of up to 60 minutes are affecting travelers through San Francisco International Airport Friday morning, airport officials said.

As of 8:15 a.m. fog around the airport was prompting the delays on flights from up to 1,625 miles away.

“There are some delays but nothing drastic,” airport duty manager Joe Walsh said. If the weather clears, airport officials may be able to get flights on time again.airplanesairportflight delaysSFOtravel
