Firefighters quickly douse blaze in basement of Inner Richmond home

A fire burning in the basement of a home in San Francisco’s Lake Street neighborhood Thursday morning has been contained, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported at 9:15 a.m. at 37 Seventh Ave.

Fire officials reported at 9:22 a.m. that the fire had been contained to the basement of the two-story home with no injuries reported.

No other information about the blaze was immediately available.
