Firefighters extinguish blaze at Richmond district home

A one-alarm fire was quickly extinguished at a home in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 12:21 p.m. at 770 11th Ave., a two-story home located just north of Golden Gate Park, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze at 12:39 p.m. No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Property records indicate the home was purchased in September.
