Firefighters douse blaze at Chinese food restaurant in Outer Sunset

San Francisco firefighters extinguished a one-alarm blaze at a Chinese food restaurant in the Outer Sunset on Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 1556 Noriega St., where New Hing Lung restaurant is located, just after 9 a.m., where the fire was reported to be burning on the first floor. The flames spread to another structure but the extent of damage wasn’t immediately available.

The fire was declared under control by 9:48 a.m.
