A 23-year-old laid-off cable installer was acquitted Wednesday on charges that he attacked a woman in a San Francisco parking garage last year while trying to force her into prostitution. One reason for the acquittal was that the alleged victim’s Facebook posts revealed that she, in fact, is a cruel pimp, the Public Defender’s Office said.

“The woman listed her profession as a self-employed ‘head pimptress in charge,’” Deputy Public Defender Qiana Washington said. “She further bragged of earning a graduate degree in the double majors of ‘Advanced Pimpin.’”

Other evidence supported that claim, Washington said. The woman’s accusation had Anthony Dorton spending the past 10 months in jail. The San Mateo man is a laid-off cable installer with no criminal record, his attorney said.
