Woman shot in head with pellet gun in Stockton Street Tunnel

A woman was shot in the head with what police believe may be a pellet gun Monday afternoon as she walked through the Stockton Street Tunnel.

The 50-year-old victim was walking through the tunnel at about 3 p.m. when she passed two teenage males.

The woman then heard a popping noise and felt a pain on the back of her head, and heard the two tenneager flee.

She was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for her wounds.

No arrest has been made in the case.
