Police release video of suspect vehicle in fatal Nob Hill hit-and-run

A woman who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood early this morning has died of her injuries, according to police.

The collision was first reported around 3:25 a.m. at the intersection of Bush and Leavenworth streets, police said.

The victim, who has been identified by the medical examiner as 58-year-old San Francisco resident Teresita Collins, was struck by a dark-colored vehicle that fled the scene. She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital but later died of her injuries.

Police have released video of the suspect vehicle, in which a driver who appears to be female can be seen getting out of her car and looking back down the street before driving away.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text TIP411 and start the text message with “SFPD.”
