Woman killed in vehicle collision near Islais Creek

A woman was killed in vehicle collision just south of Islais Creek Tuesday night, according to police.

Police said the woman’s vehicle collided with another vehicle at Third Street and Arthur Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

She was killed, while the driver of the second vehicle sustained no injuries and stayed at the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation, according to police.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released by the medical examiner’s office.
