VIDEO: Whale nearly collides with sailboat near Golden Gate Bridge

A humpback whale and a sailboat nearly collided in the waters near the Golden Gate Bridge on Saturday, according to a witness who posted video of the encounter on YouTube.

The video, “Humpback whale nearly collides with sailboat. Filmed from Golden Gate Bridge,” was posted by user “lauri duke” on Sunday. The user wrote that the whale “rolls out of the way just in time before being hit head on by the sailboat.”
