It’s almost time for Valentine’s Day, but the Peninsula Humane Society isn’t waiting until next week to spread some love.

For the month of February, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is waiving adoption fees for all senior pets (ages 7+) at its Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame, where there are more than 30 senior animals that need a home.

Some examples are Baby, Rocky and Crybaby — a bonded trio of two senior dogs and a cat recently surrendered to PHS/SPCA’s overnight kennels with no explanation.
