Three people were injured in a shooting in Oakland on Thursday evening, a police spokeswoman said.The shooting was reported at 5:02 p.m. in the 5500 block of Scoville Street, Oakland police Officer Holly Joshi said.Three victims were hospitalized with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, Joshi said.No arrests have been made and no suspect information was immediately available Thursday morning, Joshi said. Surfer rescued from Ocean Beach in San Francisco

A surfer was pulled out to sea by the riptide near San Francisco's Ocean Beach and was lost in the water for at least a half-hour Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
