Police are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred in the Outer Mission on Wednesday.
About 7:40 p.m., police began receiving calls about a silver pickup truck that crashed into a house at Florentine and Morse streets.
The pickup reportedly caused severe damage to the house before fleeing the scene, police said. The building was evacuated to ensure the safety of its residents.

A hail of bullets in the Western Addition injured a woman and entered a nearby apartment Wednesday night, police said.
The 26-year-old victim was walking in the 1600 block of McAllister Street about 10:15 p.m.when she was struck in the torso by a bullet, police said. She did not see the shooter, but multiple witnesses heard the shots and saw a man fleeing in a black car westbound on McAllister toward Broderick Street, Officer Gordon Shyy said.
The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening.

Police arrested a man suspected of multiple burglaries in Potrero Hill on Friday after he unknowingly opened and closed a garage door while police were investigating the scene, police said.
Police responded to the 400 block of Connecticut Street about 3:40 a.m. after a resident called 911 about an unknown man walking out of a neighbor’s garage.
When police arrived, the garage door was still open. During the course of their investigation, the garage door began to open and close seemingly on its own.

A man was robbed at knife-point Tuesday while he was trying to use a park bathroom, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was inside the restroom at Holly Park about 3 p.m. when two teenage male suspects entered and demanded the victim’s cash. One of the thugs grabbed the victim around his neck and held a knife to it, police said. The victim then turned over his cash. The suspects reportedly fled in a silver SUV driven by a man in his 20s. The car was later pulled over by police and that man was arrested. The teens were nowhere to be seen.

A man miraculously survived a shooting in the Mission district on Friday after the bullet grazed his cheek, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.The 27-year-old victim was walking in the area of 22nd and Bartlet streets at about 6:18 p.m. when he encountered an acquaintance, Shyy said. The two started arguing for unknown reasons, and the so-called acquaintance pulled out a gun and fired.Luckily, the bullet just grazed the San Francisco resident’s cheek and he proceeded to flee the scene, and hid somewhere along the 1000 block of Valencia Street, Shyy said.

A 61-year-old man was struck in the head with a rock in the South of Market area on Sunday, police said. The victim was arguing with the suspect, who was only described as a man in his 40s, in the area of Fifth and Bryant streets at about 9:10 p.m. when the argument escalated into a fight, police said. The suspect punched the victim several times before grabbing a rock and hitting the victim in the head, police said. The rock-wielding goon fled the scene on foot and no arrest has been made.
