Two suspects arrested in connection to Twin Peaks killing in July

Two suspects have been arrested on suspicion of murder for their alleged link to the killing of a man at Twin Peaks last month, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Fantasy Decuir, a 20 year-old San Francisco resident, and Lamonte Mims, a 19 year-old resident of Patterson, Calif., were both were arrested in connection to a July 28 armed robbery at St. Mary’s Cathedral Square near Geary Boulevard and Gough Street.

Investigators later linked Decuir and Mims to last month’s Twin Peaks killing and earlier this month booked them on murder and a handful of other charges.

Their alleged victim, Edward French, a 71-year-old man, was shot and killed after being robbed near the popular Twin Peaks lookout July 16, where two men were shot and killed last year.

Police officials said that a male and female robbed French of a camera. They then allegedly shot him once before fleeing around 7:50 a.m. The suspects drove away in a gray Honda Accord.
