Two people were injured in shootings in San Francisco’s Mission District Tuesday, one of them critically.
The first incident occurred around 11:46 a.m., when a 33-year-old woman was shot in the area of 23rd and Hampshire streets.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect remained unknown as of Wednesday morning.
The second occurred around 7:30 p.m., when the victim, a 19-year-old man, stopped at a stoplight in a vehicle at 16th and Shotwell streets.
A man and a woman pulled up next to him in another vehicle and shot at him.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
No arrest had been reported as of Wednesday morning.
