Man struck, killed by SUV in San Francisco's Castro district

A San Francisco man died after he was struck by an SUV while crossing the street in The City's Castro neighborhood Tuesday morning, San Francisco police said.William Cox, 59, was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Noe and 14th streets when a Ford Explorer hit him as the driver made a left turn onto 14th Street around 10:40 a.m., according to San Francisco police and the medical examiner's office.
