An alleged serial bank robber was nabbed in San Mateo after informing a teller that he wasn’t armed, then telling her where he planned to go after the heist, according to prosecutors.Prosecutors said 41-year-old Paul David Stoliker is under investigation for numerous Peninsula bank robberies. He was arrested Dec. 14, only hours after allegedly robbing a U.S. Bank in San Mateo. On Friday, Stoliker pleaded not guilty to robbery and burglary charges in connection to that heist.

A 41-year-old transient’s robbery spree was cut short after he gave away his own location, according to San Mateo Police.Paul David Stoliker, of Moss Beach, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and booked for robbery after he allegedly took cash from two separate banks, three miles apart.Police were able to track Stoliker because he had asked for medical attention at both locations.
