Five people were shot and injured, one critically, at a bar in the Mission district Monday, police said.The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. at El Tin Tan bar at 3065 16th St., which is next door to popular Mexican restaurant Pancho Villa, police said.
The injured were Hispanic men between ages 26 and 42 years old, police said. Only one victim, a 36-year-old man, suffered life threatening injuries.

A crisis involving warring gangs in the Mission district in recent weeks appears to have been averted, at least temporarily, according to police.
Violence between Norteños and Sureños was touched off by Sureño graffiti appearing on Norteño turf near 19th and Bryant streets Feb. 18, according to police. During the two weeks following, there were four shootings and two stabbings, including one fatality.
But last week was different, police said.
