Former Stanford basketball team captain Peter Sauer died Sunday night during a recreational basketball game in White Plains, N.Y. after he struck his head on the court.
According to the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office, an autopsy was to scheduled to be conducted Monday evening, but results weren’t immediately available.

The USF men’s basketball team dropped its fourth straight conference game after losing to St. Mary’s on Monday, but fourth-year coach Rex Walters saw an effort his team can build off.
