A trio of thugs earned about $1.65 apiece when they stabbed and robbed a man as he left a Tenderloin corner store Tuesday night, police said.
The chumps’ change heist occurred near Turk and Jones streets about 11:35 p.m., police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said. A store clerk called police after a person came in saying someone had been stabbed outside, Andraychak said.

When the Moscone Center opened in 1981, Gwenn Craig attended an evening event in the South of Market conference hall, which had been built in what was then a quiet, industrial neighborhood, mostly deserted at night and on weekends.
