Jewish Community High School of the Bay extended its undefeated record on Monday by sweeping Leadership High School in nonleague girls’ volleyball play at the School of the Arts. The Wolves got out to the early lead, winning the first game 25-17 and never looked back, winning the next two games 25-16 and 25-21 to complete a win that their coach, Amy Hoffman, said was the closest of the season. Balboa stays unbeaten by knocking off SF International in boys' soccer

For the second straight game, the Balboa High School boys’ soccer team shut out it’s opponent at Crocker Amazon Park. The Buccaneers (4-0) got out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated San Francisco International High School 2-0 on Tuesday. Balboa High School edges out Jordan in pressure-packed soccer match

Balboa High School and Jordan School play each other in boys’ soccer every season, but people may not know that the two schools are only a mile apart, giving a whole new meaning to cross-town rivalry. After going winless against Jordan last year, Balboa earned retribution by holding off the Jaguars 2-1 in Academic Athletic Association play on Tuesday at Crocker Amazon Field. Read More
