A taxi driver was robbed in his vehicle at gunpoint early Thursday, becoming the second cabbie to be hit by thieves within a week, police said.At around 4 a.m., the 39-year-old driver was pulled over to the side of the road in the area of Scott Street and Geary Boulevard when the gunman came to his window and demanded cash, police said.The suspect fled with the victim’s money in a black two-door Lexus, police said.There was no arrest.

A SWAT team stormed a home in the Western Addition on Friday and rescued a woman who had been kidnapped at gunpoint, police said.The woman’s estranged husband kidnapped her at her home on Addison Street, then drove her to his residence in the 1100 block of Scott Street. Cops spotted his car parked near the residence. No one answered when they knocked on his door, police said.

An apparently crabby cabbie beat and robbed a Haight-Ashbury woman after she disputed the taxi fare on Sunday, the woman told police.The woman said she was being dropped off at Scott and Haight streets around 5:10 a.m. when she told the taxi driver the fare wasn’t fair.She left the car and began walking away when the cabbie “chased her on foot, pushed her to the ground, beat her and took her wallet and keys,” police said.
