A good Samaritan who was arrested while trying to help a dying dog was acquitted Thursday, San Francisco Public Defender’s Office spokeswoman Tamara Barak Aparton said. Jonathan Krull, 38, was acquitted on a single count of misdemeanor battery. The jury deliberated for less than 30 minutes, Public Defender Scott Grant said.
