The San Francisco Unified School District could face a budget deficit as large as $20 million next school year if the tax package extensions proposed by the governor are not approved by voters in June. Myong Leigh, the deputy superintendent of policy and operations at the district, gave a brief budgetary outline to the San Francisco Board of Education on Tuesday night in order to prepare the governing body for the potential cuts.
