The Bay Fair BART station in San Leandro is closed tonight as emergency officials respond to reports of a person under a train.
The person's condition was not immediately known, a BART dispatcher said.
Trains are running through the Bay Fair station but not stopping, the dispatcher said.

A woman with a small child in her car was arrested in San Leandro early Tuesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence and child endangerment after an officer saw her throw a tequila bottle out her car window, police said. A medical emergency at BART’s San Leandro station is causing delays of about 20 minutes this afternoon, a dispatcher said.The medical emergency was reported at 1:14 p.m. It has since been cleared from the station but is causing residual delays for trains headed to Richmond and Daly City, the dispatcher said at 1:40 p.m.
