A good Samaritan helped cops catch a laptop thief on Friday, police said. The Samaritan saw a 22-year-old man enter a residence in the 200 block of Dolores Street around 12:30 a.m. and called the police, cops said. A 31-year-old man was killed when an intoxicated driver who was speeding and running multiple red lights plowed into his car on Geary Boulevard Thursday, police said.
