Occupier on trial tries to bring weed into courthouse

An Occupy San Francisco protester chose jail time over community service and probation during his Thursday sentencing for misdemeanor vandalism. Richard Barksdale, 43, of Colorado Springs, Colo., an activist who’s been arrested at least three times this year during protest-related incidents, was found guilty of writing on the walls of the vacant Cathedral Hill Hotel on March 25.
