The woman accused of swindling would-be renters in San Francisco out of money in a Craigslist scam will have a new place to reside: state prison.
Rachael Marie Smith was sentenced Friday to two years in state prison for taking money from 18 renters she found on Craigslist, according to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
