A top HIV prevention specialist in San Francisco was named director of the Office of National AIDS Policy on Wednesday.Dr. Grant Colfax, who has served as director of HIV prevention and research with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, was appointed as the White House AIDS czar by President Barack Obama.
