Andy Buh reportedly hired as Cal football's defensive coordinator

Wisconsin linebackers coach Andy Buh has accepted an offer to become the defensive coordinator at Cal under new Golden Bears coach Sonny Dykes, the Wisconsin State Journal reported Sunday. Buh, 35, had been an assistant coach at Cal’s rival Stanford for three years from 2007 through 2009, and he was the Cardinal’s co-defensive coordinator his final two seasons on Jim Harbaugh’s staff. Sonny Dykes confident Cal can turn things around

At the urging of athletic director Sandy Barbour, Sonny Dykes pulled out a white Cal cap from underneath the podium and popped it on his head to accent his blue-and-gold tie and dark suit, drawing cheers from department staff who filled the Memorial Stadium room.
