Madison Bumgarner threw a one-hitter in his first career complete game as the Giants posted their fourth consecutive shutout, a 5-0 victory over the Reds on Thursday at AT&T Park, for the first time since moving to San Francisco.
Bumgarner (10-4), who had a no-hitter through five innings, walked one and struck out eight. Cincinnati recorded its lone hit when Ryan Hanigan led off the sixth with a clean single to center field.
