San Francisco Municipal Railway’s California Street cable car line resumed service this morning after a minivan struck a cable car in The City’s Chinatown neighborhood, a Muni spokesman said.The crash was reported at 7:51 a.m. at the intersection of California Street and Grant Avenue, spokesman Paul Rose said.No one was injured in the crash, but cable car service was disrupted while crews removed the cable car and vehicle from the line, Rose said.

Police are hunting for a man who fired one shot into a minivan containing children at the Sunnydale housing projects Monday.The bullet struck the passenger door on the driver’s side of the minivan, but the driver, his wife and three children ages 15, 14 and 6 were not injured, officers at the Ingleside Police Station said Thursday.
