A man was shot while standing in front of a liquor store in San Francisco's Mission District early this morning, police said.
The shooting was reported at 12:58 a.m. near 24th and Shotwell streets.
The victim was approached by a suspect in his early 20s who shot him in the torso and then fled in a black vehicle, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.
