A man who claimed that he repeatedly stabbed another man whose wife stepped on his foot without apologizing did not give cops the whole story, police said.

A 44-year-old woman was slashed in the face by a 35-year-old woman at Turk and Jones streets Monday, SFPD said.The older woman approached the younger woman around 3 p.m. and started arguing with her. The younger woman wasn’t having it, so she pulled out a knife and sliced the older woman in the face, police said.The woman then fled the scene. No arrest has been made.rnagle@sfexaminer.com
