OAKLAND — Golden State Warriors guard Jarrett Jack has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for "verbal abuse" of an official.
The league announced the fine Sunday.
The incident occurred at the conclusion of Golden State's 118-116 loss at the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

The Warriors reportedly will receive veteran point guard Jarrett Jack from the New Orleans Hornets as part of the trade that will send Dorell Wright to Philadelphia.
The Hornets received the draft rights to 2006 second-round pick Edin Bavcic in return. A 6-foot-11 forward, Bavcic, 28, was selected 56th overall by the Raptors and traded his rights to Philadelphia for cash the night of the ’06 draft. Bavcic, 28, played in Greece last season. Read More
