A 51-year-old man was found dead in his car at a Park & Ride lot off of Interstate Highway 280 near Redwood City early this morning, a San Mateo County deputy coroner said. No other cars were involved nor were there reports of a crash when California Highway Patrol authorities went to check on a disabled vehicle on the side of northbound I-280 at Edgewood Road just after midnight. A teenager was shot near AT&T Park early Monday morning, police said. The teenager was walking in the 200 block of King Street around 2 a.m. As he walked past a 4-door black Honda, a Hispanic man of unknown age got out of the vehicle and started yelling at the teenager, cops said. The man then fired seven shots at the teen, one of which hit him in his right calf, police said. The suspect fled southbound on Interstate 280.
