A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a car in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood Thursday afternoon, police said.The collision was reported at about 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Harrison and Harriet streets.The 46-year-old victim was walking east along Harrison Street when he was struck by a gold Subaru traveling south on Harriet Street, according to police.

Good Samaritans tackled a cellphone snatcher who pulled her victim’s hair during the South of Market heist Tuesday, police said.Police said the suspect crept up behind a 31-year-old woman, grabbed her hair and swiped her cellphone at Third and Harrison streets around 7 p.m.Two witnesses chased down and tackled the suspect, a 19-year-old woman.Cops subsequently arrested the woman, police said.
