Three nudity activists have become the first to be found guilty of violating San Francisco’s nudity ban that went into effect in February.
Russell Allen, Oxane “Gypsy” Taub and George Davis were arrested and cited for violating the new law by disrobing at a rally outside City Hall on Feb. 1, the day the ordinance went into effect.

So on Wednesday, notorious nudists Gypsy Taub and George Davis are going to try again to lure the cops by staging a "body freedom dance performance" accompanied by violinist Erik Hoffman. This lewd performance will begin at noon -- admission is free.

The Board of Supervisors will bare it all today regarding how they feel about a proposed citywide ban on public nudity.
The legislation, introduced by Supervisor Scott Wiener last month, will be decided by the board after recent naked protests at City Hall and federal court action by nudists arguing that the proposed law would violate their First Amendment rights.

Although Tuesday’s “nude-in” at City Hall involved slightly more journalists than nudists, a small band of completely disrobed people turned out to protest a proposed citywide ban on public nakedness.
They held signs depicting classical paintings of naked subjects, along with disparaging remarks about Supervisor Scott Wiener, who recently proposed the ban after he said he had received too many complaints from residents in his Castro district.
