Two people have been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in San Francisco’s Bayview district.
The 18-year-old male victim was shot twice on the corner of Third Street and Gilman Avenue around 3:45 p.m. by two suspects, according to police.
The suspects were seen fleeing into a home on the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue, and police immediately surrounded the house. Read More
In an effort to combat a rise in gang violence, South San Francisco has hired a local nonprofit to organize a series of community meetings and train police officers on building trust with neighbors.
