In its upcoming 79th season, San Francisco Ballet is slated to continue its emphasis on full-length works, pieces by master choreographer George Balanchine and world premieres.
Announced Monday, the company’s 2012 season includes the troupe’s premiere of John Cranko’s “Onegin,” a newly designed production of San Francisco Ballet Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson and Yuri Possokhov’s “Don Quixote” and the return of Tomasson’s “Romeo & Juliet.”
