Three people were arrested at a recycling center in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood after buying stolen copper and other metals from undercover police officers early Saturday morning, police said Monday.
The sting took place around 6 a.m. Saturday at a recycling center near the intersection of 20th and Indiana streets.

San Francisco police are investigating the theft of copper from schools in The City's Sunset district, including one school that has been hit four times in the past week, a police captain said Tuesday.A school in the 1500 block of 12th Avenue had copper pipes stolen from a construction site on its campus on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, said Capt.
