San Francisco may eliminate cumulative contribution limits

The City’s Campaign Finance Reform Ordinance has an interesting provision that has come under discussion for change:  “No person may contribute cumulatively to all candidates more than $500 times the number of offices on the ballot.”So for this November mayor’s race, the cumulative limit is $1,500.
