San Francisco woman with stroller fights off would-be robber

Police are hunting for a cowardly crook who attempted to rob a woman who was pushing a stroller in the Inner Richmond district Monday night. The woman was walking with the stroller in the 600 block of Arguello Boulevard, which borders Rossi Park, about 7:35 p.m. when she felt someone tugging at the purse on her shoulder, according to the Richmond Police Station. Man dupes San Francisco woman while accomplice burglarizes home

Crafty crooks posing as construction workers locked a 56-year-old Glen Park woman out of her own home Tuesday during a coordinated burglary, according to police. About 10:50 a.m., the woman reportedly called police saying a man toting a handheld radio had knocked on her door in the 100 block of Charles Street, a residential area just west of San Jose Avenue. “He looked like a construction worker,” police Officer Gordon Shyy said. Cellphone thieves hold up and knock down woman

A woman was assaulted during a cellphone robbery in the Ingleside district Tuesday, police said. The 23-year-old was near Harold and Bruce avenues about 10:15 p.m. when two young hoodlums snuck up behind her and grabbed the phone from her hands. Burglars hit house, grab Labrador too

Redwood City police said they are investigating a burglary and dognapping that happened sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Monday at a house in the 200 block of West Oakwood Boulevard. The crooks stole electronics, jewelry and 11-month-old chocolate Labrador named Gus. Anyone with information on Gus’ whereabouts can call Detective Josh Chilton at (650) 780-7141. Two men accused of burglary spree

Two men were arrested last week in connection with six burglaries in South San Francisco, police said. Jesus Gomez, 19, and Henry Perez, 31, were linked to the robbery spree after being stopped by an officer who recognized Gomez as a parolee. Woman robbed in Fisherman's Wharf

A woman was robbed inside a Fisherman’s Wharf business Monday morning, police said.The 34-year-old victim had just opened up the store in the 300 block of Jefferson Street about 9:15 a.m. when the suspect followed her inside. He told her to “give him the money or he was going to shoot her,” police said. However, no gun was seen.
