Brisbane DUI suspect back in jail after skipping out on court date

The man suspected of DUI who allegedly phoned the arresting officer 152 times – leaving 54 messages over three weeks– is back in custody after police arrested him again on charges of skipping out on the start of his jury trial. Despite not showing up for court Jan. 22, 48-year-old unemployed cabdriver Khalil Jaser of Burlingame was apparently not hiding. Police investigate cause of deadly boat crash in San Francisco Bay

Brisbane police are currently investigating the cause of a collision between two boats Wednesday in the water near San Francisco’s Hunters Point that left a man dead. “We are still in the initial stages of the investigation,” Brisbane police Sgt. Mario Garcia said. The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Minh Troung of San Francisco. Read More
