Ramos’ attorney says ‘emotion’ is behind prosecution’s case

A burning desire for closure in murders of three Bologna family members may land an innocent man in prison, the defense said Wednesday during closing arguments. Ramos trial date hearing postponed

A hearing to set a trial date for the alleged gang member accused of killing Tony Bolona and two of his sons was delayed until Nov. 24. Edwin Ramos, an alleged MS-13 gang member, is charged with murder in the June 22, 2008, deaths of Bologna, 48, and two of his sons — Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16 — in the Excelsior district.
