A retired merchant mariner was stabbed to death in broad daylight in the Bayview on Wednesday, the second homicide in the neighborhood in a 24-hour period, police said.Luther Robinson, 54, was found in the 1400 block of Mendell Avenue near the intersection of Palou Avenue and Third Street about 1 p.m., police Sgt.
