Two people have been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in San Francisco’s Bayview district. The 18-year-old male victim was shot twice on the corner of Third Street and Gilman Avenue around 3:45 p.m. by two suspects, according to police. Victim of Bayview homicide identified; boy shot in Western Addition

The victim of a fatal shooting Friday night in the Bayview district was identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office on Sunday as 22-year-old Henry Tautolo of San Francisco. Tautolo was found on the unit block of Nichols Way at the Alice Griffith public-housing complex about 9 p.m. Friday, police reported. These burglars are professional jerks. Police are hunting for a heartless thief or thieves who last week burglarized a Bayview district nonprofit that serves low-income youths, making off with 15 laptops that contained the kids’ hard work in digital media arts. Car involved in fatal crash was stunt driving in Bayview

A young man accused of leaving the scene of a crash that killed his friend in the Bayview district Friday had been spinning doughnuts with his car prior to the accident, prosecutors said. Daniel Lara, 18, of San Francisco appeared in court Wednesday on five felony counts related to the crash that claimed the life of 19-year-old Eduardo Perez, who died in his brother’s arms at the scene, authorities said.
