A recycling center located across the street from the Lowe’s home improvement center in the Bayview was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning, police said.

Aireez Taylor was talking with friends near her Bayview home Dec. 29 when two men armed with guns hopped out of a parked car, her mother recalled.

The victim, 22-year-old Dominic Scott, was reportedly shot about 8:24 a.m. when numerous residents heard gunfire and called police, local authorities said.
