A 26-year-old man was brutally assaulted outside an Inner Richmond district bar early Sunday morning, police said. The victim and a friend were in a bar in the 3900 block of Geary Boulevard about 1 a.m. when the victim went outside, police Officer spokesman Gordon Shyy said.
