This grouchy Muni passenger sure raised cane. A man was arrested for assault in the Mission district on Tuesday after he belted a Muni driver with his cane, police said. The 58-year-old suspect was exiting the bus at 16th and Mission streets around 10 p.m. when he got angry at other passengers getting in his way, police said. Man robbed of booze, assaulted with bottle in Mid-Market attack

A man was robbed of his bottle of booze and assaulted with it in the Mid-Market area Sunday, police said. The 22-year-old victim bought a bottle of alcohol in the 100 block of Sixth Street around 1:15 a.m. and exited the store, police said. Upon leaving he was confronted by a man in his 30s who took the bottle away and smashed the victim in the face with it. A fight ensued wherein the suspect was also injured before he fled. A man was beaten and robbed while waiting for a bus in the Sunnydale neighborhood Sunday morning, police said. The 28-year-old victim was listening to his MP3 player at Santos Street and Geneva Avenue around 7:20 a.m. when two men aged 18 to 20 approached and grabbed for the victim’s MP3 player, police said. Woman, 52, assaulted in Tenderloin may have been hit with hammer, cops say

A woman was assaulted in the Tenderloin on Wednesday, possibly by a blow with a hammer, police said. The 52-year-old victim was attacked from behind at Post and Hyde streets around 6:40 a.m., police said. She was hit in the head, possibly with a hammer, by an unknown suspect and suffered lacerations to her head, police said.
